Your session with Alina is an integration of intuitive touch, myofascial techniques, and energy work. Alina customizes each session to address the client's needs at that time. Her touch ranges from light to deep and she encourages her clients to speak up if they need anything adjusted. Alina's intention is to create a safe space and facilitate self-empowered healing. When asked for, she will offer guided breath and focusing techniques to assist in the deepening of the work. Alina is also more than happy to share stretches and self-care techniques, within her scope of practice, to further your well being at home, all you have to do is ask!
Alina does this work because she believes the body has an innate wisdom to heal and balance itself. She believes that for a long time individuals have looked outside of themselves to the "specialist" for healing; it is time for this old paradigm to shift. From the moment she started her training it was clear that her service to her community would include self empowerment and self awareness, which she encourages through the skillful means of touch and the breath. Alina invites you to listen to your body and respond to what it is saying, with gratitude in your heart for the insight it is sharing with you. When Alina is not giving bodywork, you can find her at the waters edge or in the forest. She loves to dance, backpack, cycle, garden, adventure, and celebrate! Alina enjoys yoga, meditation, nutrition, cooking, beach combing, reading, crafting, and community life! |
